LSRI, a subsidiary of IIBR located on the IIBR campus, focuses on the commercialization of IIBR’s novel technologies and scientific achievements. Established in 1979, LSRI’s mandate is to promote biomedical projects and market IIBR-developed products and services.

LSRI’s staff of approximately 45 professionals work in joint teams with IIBR scientists. One of the ambitious projects undertaken by IIBR/LSRI concentrates on the innovative design of molecules for the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease and other age-associated impairments.

The first generation of molecules has been successfully licensed to major Japanese, US, European and Israeli pharmaceutical enterprises. Activities focusing on the next generation are currently underway.

LSRI represents IIBR in the establishment of all forms of collaboration, joint ventures and partnerships with private and public companies.
